Privacy Policy for MathGems

MathGems is an educational math practice game designed for children and families, published by Ironwood Operations LLC ("we", "us"). We are committed to protecting children's privacy. MathGems operates entirely on your device: we do not collect, transmit, track, or sell any personal information.

1. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

All game data is saved exclusively in private, sandboxed app storage on your device. Nothing is sent to external servers:

• Player Profiles: Nicknames or first names and selected grade levels (used solely to configure math problem difficulty).
• Game Progress: Gem scores, practice history, and active problem states.
• Parental Controls & Rewards: Parent-defined real-life reward goals, redemption history, and parental PIN.
• App Preferences: Selected theme and local trial start date.

Deleting a profile in the app or uninstalling the app immediately and permanently deletes all local data from your device.

The app does not access your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, advertising ID, or any other apps.

2. In-App Purchases

MathGems includes a 14-day free trial, followed by an optional one-time unlock or monthly subscription to continue practice.

• Payment Processing: All transactions are processed directly by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive, store, or have access to your credit card, billing address, or store account credentials.
• Parental Gate: All purchase options are protected behind a parental check requiring biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) or device lock passcode.
• Subscriptions & Refunds: Subscriptions can be managed or cancelled anytime in your Apple or Google account settings.

3. Our Privacy Commitments

• No Advertising: MathGems contains no third-party ads, banner ads, or promotional tracking.
• No Analytics or Tracking: We do not include third-party analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising SDKs.
• No Data Selling or Sharing: We never sell, rent, or disclose user information to data brokers or third parties.
• No User Accounts: MathGems requires no account registration, login, or email signup.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

MathGems complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Google Play Families Policy.

We do not collect personal information from children under 13 (or any users). Parents maintain complete control over all data directly on their device.
